Mad Rush for finishing all that we can.. Before Jan 29th latest Feb 5,2011

God has been amazing that is all I can say..  We have had opposition after opposition with this Journey crazy things.  For starters he was supposed to come for Christmas well orphanage canceled.  Then we had to seek GOd on:  OK Lord what now and he clearly drew out a plan for us and Gave us the way to walk so we are walking in that path with each road block we go through he takes care of it amazingly fast.  I know it has been GOd and his favor with people and man that has allowed it to all work out.  All my legal documents where different the only one that wasnt different was License and Marriage Certificate and that was really saved me with the Passport group.  My name was spelled wrong on it and I didn't even notice in 2005 it wasn't an issue.  But for this adoption it was the end of the world with EE your Passport and Marriage Certificate has to match.  no if and or buts. So thank God for our Charles who works for Johnny Issackson's office he was wonderful he was right on it got a hold of Passport people they called me Monday at 7:30 am after Christmas to tell me it was enroute to the main people to get fixed and they didn't charge me extra praise GOd and gave me a beautiful new Passport I think its a VIP one it is totally different from the cheap one I had you would believe this thing it has pictures in it colored ones at that real cardboard for the book.  AMAZING and an updated expiration date.   It was at my house Thursday when my family and I got home from camping for almost a week.   along with the I600A which the immigration side of it saying they are waiting and ready for Done HOME STUDY which we got today..  Everything is coming along now.  That is just a few of the things that have arrised..  It really excites me cause hot ground is HOLY GROUND you know.  and IF Satan wasnt worried than it would not be a BIG deal.  All of our clearances are done  except for the CIS Immigration that is the BIG one and they are waiting for the completed Homestudy which will be sending out Monday Morning.  And Charles will catch them when it gets there and get us in ASAP for fingerprinting.   I honestly dont know all the stuff we have to do for this step I just know we have completed all of what we had to do in record timing.  We started with nothing the 3rd week of Nov and we are at 1st of Jan with only one step left to do and that is this I think.. I dont think the Dossier(EE Home Study) is yet not sure though.
We are starting our gauge over to show what we are getting and have to go towards actual adoption cost now.  The other amount was working towards Home Study.  It is paid in full. We are very thankful to all who helped make this possible.  Thanks you and may God keep blessing you for blessing us.

     I would like to share with you the journey my family has embarked on.  It is the most important venture we have ever taken part in.  It is A Journey To Save A Life.  Our hopes are, that once you hear about Cole, you will want to be a part of this journey as well.  For it is Cole's life we are in a race to save. .
      First, let me introduce our family. Phillip Petitt:  Supervisor remodeling Wal-Mart and Kroger and state jobs, Anne Petitt 39 –Stay at Home mom and teacher for home schooling,  Adam Petitt 12- Loves soccer, acting, reciting anything and everything loves reading, Adam wants to be a pilot and fly for the the Blue Angels, he loves languages and learns them easily, we are all currently learning Russian,  Ryan 9- loves to build any and everything, loves studying about Wars loves World War II, anything military, he is an Artist loves to paint, draw, and create.  Both boys are learning to play piano and is very talented in music.  One day it would be nice to have a family Christian  band like the Gaithers.  Heehee. 
     My family has known God's calling to care for orphans is at the very center of the Gospel for some time.  Throughout this time, doors have opened and closed.  As we have walked through each opened door, October 21, 2010, an opened door led to Cole.  After being introduced to Cole's gentle, smiling face, I spent the entire night praying for him, never sleeping, never ceasing, just calling out to God on behalf of this boy. Thru much prayer and wisdom and seeking direction we have been confirmed without a shadow of a doubt that Cole will be our son in his new forever home.    And so the Journey began.
     Allow me to introduce you to Cole, we have sent you a family picture as you can see with Cole in the middle of it.. Please put on your refrigerator as a reminder to think about us during this time and pray.  Cole is a 15 year old orphan from EE.  In Eastern Europe including Latvia and Ukraine,  orphans are forced a lot of times out of the orphanages at 16 years old.  No arrangements or preparations are made for these children, they simply must go to make room for the younger children.  Many will go to the sewers to live as there is some warmth there.  6 out of 10 girls will be forced into prostitution, 7 out of 10 boys will turn to a life of drugs or crime to survive.  Just 2 out of 5 of these children will live beyond the age of 23.  Many will commit suicide.  We can easily agree that a two in five chance to survive does not hold much promise when you are the child hoping to be one of those two.  Kolya is unfortunately in these statistics.  Hoping to be one of the two who will survive.
     This is where you can join us on the Journey To Save A Life, to save Cole's life.  Our family must raise $25,000 towards Cole's adoption cost.  To date we have raised $5,600.  We realize that this amount is great.  We assure you Cole's life is of greater value.  He just needs a chance, someone to believe in him, a family.  We want to be that family and trust we are meant to be.
     Would you please consider becoming a sponsor for Cole's adoption?  Cole will turn 16 on March 9, 2011 we have to have all papers at US Embassy in EE Country 30 days before he turns 16 in order to adopt him and claim him Everyday he waits without hope, he takes another step closer to becoming another statistic for Russia's orphans.  Time is running out; please join us in this Journey.

For a TAX DEDUCTION THAT WILL LAST OF ETERNITY..

Time is ticking for Kolya and for us.. A little makes a lot.  We have gone as far  as we can go right now.  We are at a stand still we have to have 5,500.00 to get a contract with the adoption agency in order for them to look at the  Home Study and approve it once its gets approved it goes back to Kelly our lady she write report then to Texas to Immigration to put in request for adopting a Eastern Europe orphan then we will get invite from EE. Along with that we have to do Dossier which is the EE home study 40 pages, plus we still have to get our finger printing from US Immigration, have to get all these notarized and then taken to Atlanta to get the golden seal with means they are ready to go to EE and hand to courts there. Before we leave for EE we have to give the adoption Agency 7500.00 before we leave out of here Jan 29 from Saturday to Thursday we will meet him and claim him then we wait and get directions from Eastern Europe (EE) for the next step.

Its going to happen..

We are going for the goal..  Taking care of one of Gods Children..  To anyone who can or will..  We have a huge journey put before us.. I stand very humbled in my life that God has Chose Phillip and I to be Kolyas mom and Dad..That my God in heaven thinks we are good enough parents to parent one of His "Special" children.  We have a journey a head of us and praying for GOds guiding and provision all the way.. We know we in and of our selves cant do this.. BUt with the help of people we keep Kolya from going into the streets at age 16.  We are raising the funds to Adopt him.. I cant tell you how it is all going to work out all I can tell you is through a whole series of events we know with out a Shadow of a doubt GOd has Kolyas back and he is watching out for this little guy and HE is going to us Phillip, and I and Adam and Ryan to do this.  We thank you for your prayers and support please pass this blog to all you know and ask people to pray for us.  thank you and God bless we cant wait to meet our Boy.  Very soon.. A Time to Wait Upon The LORD

Have you ever wanted to fix something and to know there is absolutely nothing you can do without the help of GOD...  That is where we are today..  We know that unless GOd moves in a BIG way our Child very well could not have a home here in a warm bed but in the far away Streets all the way across the world ... This thought makes me sick..  But there is where FAITH has to meet the rubber in the road..  IF we can do in on our own and we know its bigger than we are what do you do..  You do all you can do and wait upon the Lord.. Last Wednesday well actually later than that  3 weeks ago tomorrow we got the call..  The hosting program called and said orphanage #18 was shutting the host program down and the 3rd high up person refused to sign the Visa for the children in that orphanage to come and spend 4 weeks in America..  Our whole world just fell out.  Lord Lord what are you doing here was this a cruel joke why would he put this precious boy in our path if he wasnt going to bring him over here?  I just dont understand..  I cried, I prayed and in my living room floor I opened my Bible and sought the Lord you know he says seek and you will find ask and you shall receive. Well I found in on my floor with my Bible I opened it up and it fell open to Psalm 68:6 Do you know what that says?  God setteth the solitary (lonely) in families: and he bringth thos who are bound with chains....  My God cares He spoke to me..  He sets the lonely in families  I cried even harder.  As I have said in other post or notes through out this whole journey He keeps literally sending me to Gods word and giving me Hope to hold on to..  I prayed it was revealed to me that the host program was never the focal point it was just what brought us to find him..  IF it hadnt been for the hosting program we would of never found him.  God has told us to keep pursuing him through adoption so we are doing so..  This past Wednesday I was taking a week off to pray and seek God in direction waiting for the FBI clearance and ect.  and on Wednesday it had been a hard day I forget what was going on but I just went into my place and started praying and again God brought we to a word..  Luke 18:27 now i want to tell you I have quoted this verse a hundred time but I did not know where it was untill He brought it to me I just about fell over..  The things which are IMPOSSIBLE with men are Possible with God.  I never knew where it was.. Then saturday night i was talking to a good friend in Charlotte and we prayed and guess what she prayed that exact verse over us so I had to share with her about what God did for me that Wednesday and not only did he send me to Luke he sent me to Jeremiah and got another version of the verse too..  Two in one day God is not a God of sequences.   Then I go to church and guess what They are singing  All things Are possible.. I just had to stand up and share what the Lord has done and said to me that whole week the them of learning to trust HIm even when we in our humanness cant see this or how its going to all work out..  As i have said in the past I truely cant save the whole world that is what Jesus Christ did for EVERYOne that excepts HIM.. But we all can have a piece of the pie with helping to Save Cole from a life of distruction and early death.. most Children thrown on the streets dont make it past 23 years old is what I had red..  I cant imagine that is when Life is just getting started.
  I sat one day and just wondered about Cole mother.. She has died and his father is in prison we are told and all rights terminated.  As I thought about his mother I just wondered did she love him as we love our children over here?  Did she pray for him as I do for my children?  was she a christian?  Did she ever pray Oh God if something happens to me please find my child a family to care for him to love him to feed him to clothe him?  The idea come to me if she did then we would be a direct result of the power of a praying momma?  and that one day I would meet her in Heaven and he would know his momma was a christian and life on this earth is only temporarily and in Heaven he would yet see his momma again.  you see our Cole is delayed he is 15 but is more on the level of 10 to 12 year old this is normal for children that live in these extreme conditions.  I have a friend who has adopted 3 from the same orphanage in 07 and they was delayed now they are the top of there class in East Jackson High.. So these children do really thrive in a good loving environment.  I know I keep writing but we do so desperately need the prayers of the righteous because there prayers availeth much.  I want to be a part of a miracle that will last of eternity.  I dont want anyone or child to have to live a live of such in humane circumstances.. He deserves a home just like you and me and I am praying and believing God for it.  May your day be blessed and better tonight for taking the time to think upon these things.  God Bless.
